Heidi Hemmat Productions | Accident Investigation Legal Videos

About Us

Heidi Hemmat is a 6-time EMMY award winning Investigative journalist who spent the first 22 years of her career researching, writing, producing and presenting on-air reports for major television networks including CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX.

During her years as a Denver investigative reporter, Heidi was often on the front lines of the worst tragedies in U.S. history. She covered the Columbine high school shooting, 9-11, the Aurora movie theater massacre, the Utah kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart, the Bailey, Colorado school shooting, and the Oklahoma City bombing trial, just to name a few.

Heidi’s experience as a news reporter taught her how to interview people who have been through enormous loss, put them at ease and tell their stories in a way that makes everyone feel their pain.

Heidi Hemmat with Emmy

"Heidi came highly recommended and she did not disappoint. She worked with us on a very short timeline and produced an excellent video for our use at mediation which helped the case settle very favorable for our clients."

San Francisco | Heidi Hemmat

In 2008, Heidi’s brother Chad Hemmat, who is a personal injury attorney in Denver, Colorado, asked her to produce a “day-in-the-life” mediation video for an upcoming settlement conference. Heidi put together a mediation video that looked and sounded just like one of her investigative reports. Heidi’s first mediation video resulted in a multi-million-dollar settlement. It wasn’t long before other Denver law firms were contacting Heidi to produce similar mediation videos –and a side business was born.

Heidi Hemmat Productions officially opened for business in 2016. Heidi has assembled a “dream-team” of EMMY award winning photographers, editors and a very talented graphic artist. We use only the best, state-of-the art equipment to create network quality video documentaries.

Our Team

Each member of our team has more than 20 years of network TV experience in investigative reporting, producing, writing, videography, editing and graphic arts. Collectively, our team (of 4) has been honored with 36 EMMY Awards for broadcast television excellence. But that’s not why you should choose us over our competition.

At Heidi Hemmat productions, we believe what sets us apart is our empathy, compassion and our heartfelt desire to give a voice to the people who need it most –those who have suffered catastrophic injuries or devastating loss, and are, often times, no longer capable of telling their own stories.

We are not the oldest, or the biggest legal video production company in the U.S., but we are the best. And we think our $136,000,000.00 (and counting) in settlements awarded at mediation since 2016 prove it.
