Heidi Hemmat Productions creates legal Settlement Documentaries and Day in the Life videos. Our video production services help attorney’s get the best possible legal settlement or verdict. We specialize in medical malpractice cases, wrongful death cases, birth injuries, personal injuries, product liability, defective drugs and insurance bad faith claims, among others.

First, we contact your client to learn more about their case. If they cannot speak for themselves, we call the closest family member.

If we are producing a Settlement documentary contrasting the victim’s pre and post injury life, we ask the plaintiff or family member to send pre-injury photos and videos, as well as post injury hospital or rehab photos and videos. In a wrongful death case, we ask for photos of the family member who died.

Then we set up a shoot date. Your client can plan on a 8 hour shoot for a Day in the life video. Heidi and a videographer arrive at the client’s home a few minutes before the morning routine begins, and leave after they’ve captured the bedtime routine. If we are using that footage to produce a settlement documentary for mediation, (in hopes of settling the case before trial), we will also interview the plaintiff and/or those closest to him or her. Interviews average around 1 hour per person.

If we are just producing a Settlement documentary, we need 1 hour per interview, plus 1 to 4 hours of gathering the video footage that demonstrates the injury or loss, depending on the extent of the injury.

After the shoot, and once we’ve received all the materials from the attorney, we need 2 to 3 weeks to produce the final video.
